Recently I watched an inspirational clip which moved me on a multitude of levels, and today I want to share it with you in the hope you too will find inspiration in this story.

It is difficult to imagine what it must be like to live in a country where females are not allowed to gain an education.  But in Afghanistan under the Taliban rule, there were extreme punishments for females who sought an education - resulting in deadly consequences for those who were 'caught in the act'.

Shabana Basij-Rasikh helps girls and young women in Afghanistan get an education.  Her story is a moving example of courage in the face of huge personal risk, hope and dreaming big.
