Gratitude – A Wake Up Call

I had just finished lamenting some middle class frustration on Sunday morning, when I watched this TED talk. It stopped me smack bang in my guilt ridden tracks, reminding me of the power of gratitude and perspective.

So if your week ain’t goin’ so well, this TED watch might too be the perfect remedy.

Finally, I am reading one of my favourite author’s books at the moment, Epictetus, and I think it was no coincidence that on Sunday I came across this quote:

“He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.” – Epictetus

And it’s as wise now as it was in 94AD…
